Claire Liddle opened Uniformality on Nottingham Road, Borrowash in November 2005.
“As a parent, I saw a gap in the market for competitively priced, high quality schoolwear” Claire said. “I also wanted to provide a personal independent service from a shop in addition to supplying schools directly”.
Looking around the shop, I immediately saw the display of shirts, blouses, trousers, skirts, jumpers, cardigans , fleeces, blazers etc but what surprised me, was the range of sports kits, swimwear, plimsolls and other general accessories available. Claire really has thought of everything, making Uniformality a one stop shop for all your children's needs. There are also large changing rooms available to try the uniform before you buy.
Now the shop is open, people are coming from all areas. Uniformality are recognised and approved suppliers to West Park School in Spondon and Harrington Junior school in Long Eaton.
The corporatewear side of the business also has a huge range of garments at competitive prices. From tabards for chip shops, overalls for garages to Polo shirts for darts teams, there is something here for all business and leisure needs.
While visiting the shop, Claire was working on a large order for a Derbyshire Courier company. This order ranged from shirts and blouses for office workers to polo shirts and fleeces for their distribution drivers. All uniforms carried the same logo to maintain the corporate identity.
Business customers have increased by word of mouth with many happy clients recommending them to other businesses.
All company and school logos can be embroidered on site. There is no need to wait days after you place your order.
